1. Why does nothing happen when I try to mark an email for deletion in my Address Book?
The email address marking feature utilizes an animated gif to indicate which email address are selected. You can accidentally disable animated gifs if you alter the default preferences of your web browser. If you are using Internet Explorer, go to tools/internet options/advanced/multimedia. Ensure the option to show animations is turned on.
If you have ZoneAlarm Pro installed? If so, open the program, go to the Privacy Tab and click on the custom button. Make sure that the option to block animation is turned OFF.
Other security programs can also disable animated .gifs. Ensure there are no programs set to disable gifs.
2. I have activated my survey, but at least one person hasn't received their e-mail invitation to participate. What do I do?
If you want to invite people to participate in your survey after it is activated, we recommend sending them an email from your personal/company email account that contains the respondent URL.
This can be better than using SurveyShare, since you will be notified if an email bounces back due to a typo, or full inbox. Some people employ advanced emails filters that ask you to manually confirm that the email is not spam before it is delivered. SurveyShare is not configured to respond to these email filters, so many of our members use their personal email to distribute the survey URL, instead of SurveyShare's built-in functionality.
You can find your survey's respondent URL on your Survey Options screen by following the Survey Control link in the orange menubar.
